Two new series from Australia arrive in the US in February, including a documentary presented by the outstanding Sam Neill about British explorer Captain James Cook.

Many of the new Down Under TV series in 2018 were good or great, and some I couldn’t get into no matter how terrific their ratings. Herewith, then, are my favorites.
