Prime Video has announced the global premiere date for the new Australian docuseries Dance Life. Check out the trailer.
Dance Life, a five-part docuseries about Brent Street, the Southern Hemisphere’s most prestigious dance academy, follows a select group of students throughout their final make-or-break year at the elite dance studio.
Bringing with them a lifetime of dance, the students who arrive at Brent Street are single-minded in their ambition to become working dancers and stars. It won’t be easy: To make it through the year, they will need stamina and tenacity as they work tirelessly towards the year-end Grad performance. It’s there that they hope to secure the all-important agent, who could make their dreams of becoming a professional dancer come true.
From perfectionists and prodigies, to underdogs and the entitled, each student’s inner voice of doubt battles against their insatiable drive to make it.
Dance Life, an Australian Amazon Original Series, premieres globally on Friday, January 19, exclusively on Prime Video. (You can add it to your watchlist now.)
Produced by Amazon Studios in collaboration with EQ Media, Biscuit Tin Productions, and Creative Bubble Productions, the series is created and produced by Jade Barnes and Luke Cornish, who also serves as writer and director. Executive producers are Shahn Devendran, Jade Barnes, Luke Cornish, David Alrich, and Brendan Dahill.
