Peacock announced today the premiere date for Season 2 of Wolf Like Me, the romantic fantasy dramedy starring Isla Fisher and Josh Gad. Check out a few first-look pics.
In the first season of Peacock’s popular romantic dramedy series Wolf Like Me, we meet Mary (Isla Fisher, Wedding Crashers, Definitely Maybe) and Gary (Josh Gad, Avenue 5, Central Park) — she’s a woman with a secret she hasn’t been able to share with anyone, he’s an emotional wreck who’s been struggling to connect with his daughter since the death of his wife. They meet when she plows into his car with hers. As fate would have it, they begin dating and soon fall for each other. Then Gary discovers Mary’s hairy secret…
In the seven-episode second season, Mary and Gary leap into the next phase of their relationship and face their biggest challenge yet: pregnancy. As much as they try to have a normal pregnancy, it seems impossible with so many questions looming over them. Will their child be a baby or a wolf pup? Just how long can they keep things secret from the rest of their family? And will what happened in the outback come back to haunt them?
But when Mary’s former professor, Anton (Edgar Ramírez, American Crime Story, The Undoing), suddenly reappears in her life, new secrets from Mary’s past are revealed, leaving Mary and Gary to question whether they’re even meant to be together.
Wolf Like Me: Season 2, a Peacock Original, premieres Thursday, October 19, exclusively on Peacock.
The Season 2 cast also includes Ariel Donoghue (High Life), Emma Lung (Wonderland), Anthony Taufa (Mr Inbetween), and Honour Latukefu.
A production of Made Up Stories in partnership with Fifth Season and Stan, Wolf Like Me is created, written, directed, and executive produced by Abe Forsythe (Little Monsters). Season 2 is executive produced by Jodi Matterson, Bruna Papandrea, and Steve Hutensky for Made Up Stories (Big Little Lies, Nine Perfect Strangers), Isla Fisher, and Josh Gad.
