Fans of My Life Is Murder, rejoice! Acorn TV has renewed this New Zealand mystery drama, starring Lucy Lawless, for a third season!
Acorn TV Original My Life Is Murder, a wildly popular, fan-favorite series amongst the streamer’s subscribers, will be back with Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess, Spartacus, Ash vs Evil Dead) as retired detective and sourdough superstar Alexa Crowe.
In ten new episodes, Alexa will face a raft of fascinating, powerful, and surprising suspects — from eccentric billionaires and grieving florists, to tango dancers and fiery fashionistas. The only thing they have in common is, not one of them is expecting Alexa’s unique brand of crime solving, but they’ll quickly learn that you underestimate her at your own risk.
Alexa’s small “found family” of fierce supporters, friends, and fellow investigators are back, as well, including partner-in-crime-solving Madison (Ebony Vagulans, The Heart Guy), charismatic detective Harry (Rawiri Jobe, The Brokenwood Mysteries), and café owner Reuben (Joe Naufahu, Game of Thrones). And that’s before her actual family members turn up to add their own drama and chaos.
The series is executive produced by Lucy Lawless, Claire Tonkin, Rachel Antony, Nicky Davies Williams, Pilar Perez, and Don Klees.
