NATIONAL PREMIERES

The Gone: Season 1 (NZ-IE)

In the first season of this New Zealand-Irish mystery series, Irish detective Theo Richter (Richard Flood, Red Rock, Grey’s Anatomy) teams up with a Kiwi cop, Detective Sergeant Diana Huia (Acushla-Tara Kupe, Under the Vines, The Crown), to find an Irish couple who have vanished from a rural New Zealand town. As the pair investigate, they have to contend with a community’s growing disquiet that the disappearances may be linked to a series of historical murders, as well as reports on the situation by Irish journalist Aileen Ryan (Carolyn Bracken, Smother, Dublin Murders).

Costarring Michelle Fairley (Gangs of London, Game of Thrones), The Gone: Season 1 premieres in the US with two episodes on Monday, January 20, 2025, exclusively on Acorn TV and its digital channels, including Acorn TV on Prime Channels. New episodes will be released every Monday through the season finale on February 17, 2025.

Grafted (NZ)

This horror movie stars Jess Hong (3 Body Problem, The Brokenwood Mysteries) as Wei, a Chinese scholarship student who travels to New Zealand to study medical research at a prestigious university. Determined to change her fate, Wei immerses herself in her late father’s research, working on a revolutionary skin grafting procedure that could cure her deformity. As her experiments take a dark turn, she becomes more dangerous and unhinged, willing to eliminate anyone who threatens her secret.

Costarring Jared Turner (The Almighty Johnsons, One Lane Bridge) and Mark Mitchinson (Under the Vines, The Gulf), Grafted, a Shudder Original Film, premieres in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK, and Ireland on Friday, January 24, 2025, exclusively on Shudder, the AMC+ streaming bundle, and their digital channels, including Shudder on Prime Channels and AMC+ on Prime Channels, where available.

Returning for its sophomore season is this international NCIS spin-off series. A US-Australia police procedural drama, it follows an eclectic team of American NCIS agents and Australian Federal Police officers who have been grafted into a multi-national task force to keep naval crimes in check in the Indo-Pacific, the most contested patch of ocean on the planet.
