Acorn TV has set the US and Canada premiere date for Season 3 of Under the Vines, the streamer’s hit comedy-drama series from New Zealand.
Rebecca Gibney (The Dressmaker, Wanted) and Charles Edwards (The Crown, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power) will be back soon as city slickers-turned-vintners Daisy Monroe and Louis Oakley in the upcoming third season of Under the Vines.
Set in rural New Zealand, the new season opens with Daisy and Louis trying to legally oust the annoying William (Mark Mitchinson, Evil Dead Rise, “The Hobbit” films), who claims he owns half of their Oakley Wines vineyard. But are all bets off when Daisy, in an effort to get William out of the house, challenges him, a former professional poker player, to a winner-takes-all game of “Texas Hold ’em”? Elsewhere amidst the goings-on at the vineyard is the impending arrival of Nic (Carrie Green, Wellington Paranormal) and Vic’s (Cohen Holloway, Our Flag Means Death) twin babies.
Under the Vines: Season 3, an Acorn TV Original series, premieres in the US and Canada with two episodes on Monday, August 19, exclusively on Acorn TV. New episodes will drop singly on Mondays.
