The CW Network, Roku Originals, and Stan have announced that they’re teaming up for the new scripted series Good Cop/Bad Cop.
Good Cop/Bad Cop is a one-hour police procedural dramedy that follows Lou and Henry, an odd sister-and-brother detective team on a small Pacific Northwest police force, who must contend with colorful residents, a serious lack of resources, and their very complicated dynamics with each other and with their police chief, Big Hank — who happens to be their father.
Starring in the eight-episode series are Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl, Single Parents) as Lou, Luke Cook (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Dynasty) as Henry, and Clancy Brown (Dexter: New Blood, Billions) as Big Hank.
With production scheduled to begin later this spring in Queensland, Australia, Good Cop/Bad Cop is set to premiere in 2025 — via linear TV on The CW and streaming on The Roku Channel in the US, and on Stan in Australia.
Created, written, and executive produced by John Quaintance (Reboot, Will & Grace), the series is executive produced by Jeff Wachtel (Suits, Dawson’s Creek), Trent O’Donnell (Ghosts), who also serves as director, and Chloe Rickard (No Activity), with Phil Lloyd as co-executive producer. The series is produced by Wachtel’s Future Shack Entertainment and Jungle Entertainment for commissioning broadcasters The CW Network, The Roku Channel, and Stan, in association with ITV Studios, which will handle the show’s distribution. The production is supported by the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy.
Stay tuned for updates.
