Ovation TV has announced its acquisition of three seasons of the hit Australian drama series A Place to Call Home from AMC Networks’ RLJ Entertainment.

The deal gives Ovation the non-exclusive US broadcast rights for the first three seasons (33 episodes) of A Place to Call Home, the Logie Awards winner for Best Drama Program in 2017.

The series stars Marta Dusseldorp (Jack Irish, Janet King, Crownies) as Sarah Adams, a woman with a mysterious past who returns to Australia after 20 years in Europe. Little does she know when she sets sail for home that her post-war life will include the Blighs, a wealthy Australian family that she meets on the ship.

Costarring Noni Hazlehurst (The Letdown, City Homicide) and Brett Climo (The Mystery of a Hansom Cab, Underbelly Files), A Place to Call Home will begin airing on Monday, April 6 (time tba), as part of Ovation’s “Mystery Mornings” block.
