Netflix has set the global premiere date for The Survivors, a new mystery-crime drama series from Australia. Check out the trailer.
Based on The Survivors (#ad), Jane Harper’s New York Times best-selling novel, the Aussie series The Survivors follows Kieran Elliott (Charlie Vickers, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart), whose life changed forever fifteen years ago.
It was then that two people drowned and a young girl went missing in his hometown of Evelyn Bay. Now back after all those years with his wife, Mia (Yerin Ha, Dune: Prophecy, Halo), and their infant child, Kieran experiences anew the guilt that has haunted him since then.
When the body of a young woman is found on the beach, the town is once again rocked by tragedy and the investigation of her death threatens to reveal long-held secrets, the truth about the missing girl, and a killer amongst them.
The Survivors, a Netflix Series, premieres globally on Friday, June 6, exclusively on Netflix.
