NATIONAL PREMIERES

Deadloch (AU)

Filmed in and around Hobart, Tasmania, this crime comedy series sees the residents of Deadloch, a once-sleepy seaside hamlet in Tasmania, reeling when a local man turns up dead on the beach. Thrown together to solve the case are two female detectives: fastidious local senior sergeant Dulcie Collins (Kate Box, Wentworth, Rake) and senior investigator Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami, The Bad Seed, Top of the Lake), a rough-as-guts blow-in from Darwin. Working alongside them is overeager junior constable Abby (Nina Oyama, Utopia, Class of ’07). As the town prepares to launch the Winter Feastival, the annual arts, food, and culture event, the investigating trio will have to put their differences aside and work together to find the killer.

The eight-episode series costars Tom Ballard (Tonightly with Tom Ballard) and Alicia Gardiner (Wakefield, Offspring). Also in the ensemble cast are Susie Youssef (Rosehaven), Pamela Rabe (Wentworth), Kris McQuade (Rosehaven), Duncan Fellows (The Letdown), Harvey Zielinski (Don’t Look Deeper), Shaun Martindale (The Tailings), Katie Robertson (Five Bedrooms), Nick Simpson-Deeks (Winners & Losers), Mia Morrissey (Home and Away), Leonie Whyman (Dark Place), Mick Davies (Rosehaven), Holly Austin, Kartanya Maynard, and Naarah.

Deadloch, an Amazon Original, premieres globally with three episodes on Friday, June 2, exclusively on Prime Video. New episodes will debut singly on Fridays through July 7.

Costarring Damon Herriman (Thai Cave Rescue, The Serpent) and Greta Scacchi (Darby & Joan, The Shepherd), Run Rabbit Run, a Netflix Film, premieres globally (excluding Benelux, Portugal, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Latin America, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Nordics, and Taiwan) on Wednesday, June 28, exclusively on Netflix.
