UPtv has announced the US broadcast premiere date for Season 3 of Mystic, the award-winning teen drama from New Zealand that’s a hit with viewers of all ages.
Based on the popular “Pony Club Secrets” novels by Stacy Gregg, Mystic revolves around Issie (Macey Chipping, Holby City), a teen who moves from her home in London, England, to the (fictional) peninsula of Kauri Point (KP) in New Zealand, where she meets and becomes friends with a group of teen horse riders. She also develops a special bond with the wild ponies, Blaze and Mystic (which brings in the supernatural elements of the show).
In the Season 3 opener, emotions run high after Issie invites an unwelcome guest to her mom, Amanda’s, (Laura Patch, After Life) birthday party. The KP team has something to celebrate, and Issie is confused by her latest visions from Mystic.
Later, when tension between Dan (Max Crean, Totally Completely Fine) and Issie starts affecting the champs’ training, the KP gang decides to take action. Meanwhile, Mystic seems to be warning Issie about the illegal trawler.
