Most stateside Down Under TV fans know Australian actor Rodger Corser from The Doctor Blake Mysteries and The Heart Guy, but there are more shows to see him in.
Here’s a rundown of all the television programs currently available in the US that star or feature Rodger Corser.

BeastMaster
Corser had his first television role in the episode “Riddle of the Nymph” of this action-adventure-fantasy series. In it he plays Sararmago, a warrior who kidnaps the nymph who produces water for the fountain of youth.

The Beautiful Lie
This drama miniseries is a modern-day re-imagining of Leo Tolstoy’s classic novel Anna Karenina, in which Corser plays Xander Ivin, whose wife Anna (Sarah Snook, Succession) leaves him and their seemingly perfect life for another man.

The Doctor Blake Mysteries
Corser joined the cast of this hit murder mystery series in Season 4 as Chief Superintendent Frank Carlyle, a copper who respects authority as much as the eponymous police surgeon and local doctor does (meaning not a lot).

Glitch
In this award-winning sci-fi drama (one of the best new series of 2016), Corser plays John Doe, the most violent of the Risen — people who were dead and buried yet inexplicably rise from the grave. In Season 2, John’s real identity is revealed to him.

The Heart Guy (aka Doctor Doctor)
Corser plays bad boy medicine man Hugh Knight in this dramedy series, which follows the big city heart surgeon as he does professional penance as a GP in his rural hometown, where his estranged family and ex-fiancée still live and where family drama is an everyday occurrence. McLeod’s Daughters
This multiple award-winning drama series follows two half-sisters who reunite after 20 years when they inherit their late father’s cattle ranch in the outback in South Australia. Corser appeared in 19 episodes between Seasons 1 and 4 as Peter Johnson, the lover (then ex, then lover, then ex) of one of the sisters, Claire McLeod (Lisa Chappell, City Life), and the baby daddy of their daughter Charlotte.

Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries
“Murder & the Maiden” is the second episode of the third season of this international hit mystery series. In it Corser plays Air Force Captain Lyle Compton, Phryne’s (Essie Davis, The White Princess) old flame.

Paper Giants: Magazine Wars
Based on the real-life battle between the editors of Woman’s Day and New Idea to make their respective magazine the top seller in Australia, this two-part drama features Corser as Harry M. Miller — the native New Zealander who became a top entertainment promoter, publicist, and media agent.

Party Tricks
Corser costars opposite Asher Keddie (Offspring) in this political dramedy series, in which he plays David McLeod, the leader of the opposition who runs against Kate Ballard (Keddie) in the election for State Premier. He also happens to be her secret former lover.

Puberty Blues
Based on the book of the same name by Kathy Lette and Gabrielle Carey, this coming-of-age dramedy series set in the 1970s revolves around two inseparable teens and their families and friends. Corser plays Ferris Hennessey, an abusive husband, father, and philanderer.

Rush
Corser starred in all 70 episodes of this police drama set in Melbourne, Victoria, which follows the members of the police’s prestigious Tactical Response team. In it he plays Senior Sergeant Lawson Blake, a man who overcame his past and the odds against him to become a college-educated cop and the team’s leader and primary negotiator.

Underbelly
The first season of this multiple award-winning true-crime series is adapted from the book Leadbelly: Inside Australia’s Underworld (aka Leadbelly: The Inside Story of an Underworld War) by John Silvester and Andrew Rule, which itself is based on the Melbourne gangland war that resulted in dozens of deaths between 1995 and 2004. The 13-episode limited series features Corser as Detective Senior Sergeant Steve Owen, a (fictional) key member of the Victoria Police’s Purana Task Force who investigates the gangland killings.
