The start of autumn brings a brand new conspiracy thriller from Australia to Down Under TV fans in the US. Two popular Aussie series are being added to an SVOD service, too.

NATIONAL PREMIERES

The Unlisted (AU)

This sci-fi conspiracy thriller follows two 13-year-old identical twins, Dru and Kal Sharma (newcomers and real-life brothers Vrund and Ved Rao), who uncover a secret government plot to control and track Australia’s students. To stop it, they team up with a group of underground vigilantes.

Costars in the 15-episode half-hour series include Nicholas Brown (Harrow), Suzi Dougherty (Blue Heelers), Danny Kim (The Code), Miah Madden (The Gods of Wheat Street), and Annabel Wolfe (The Heart Guy).

The Unlisted, a Netflix Original series, premieres globally outside Australia on Thursday, October 17, exclusively on Netflix.

NON-PREMIERE PROGRAMS HEADED TO STREAMING SERVICES

Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries: Series 3 (AU)

The third season of this worldwide hit, based on Kerry Greenwood‘s “Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries” novels, heads to Acorn TV in October. (Yay!)

Set in 1920s Melbourne, this final season of the stylish and sexy period mystery drama finds the Honourable Phryne Fisher (Essie Davis, The Babadook, The White Princess, Game of Thrones) investigating several suspicious deaths and murders, including those of a magician’s assistant, an unidentified woman, a grandmother, homeless boys, a wealthy woman, a hotel concierge, a tennis player, and a scientist.

Costarring Nathan Page (Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo), Ashleigh Cummings (Westside), Hugo Johnstone-Burt (The Wrong Girl), Richard Bligh (Newton’s Law), and Miriam Margolyes (Call the Midwife), Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries: Series 3 begins streaming in the US via SVOD on Monday, October 7, exclusively on Acorn TV and its digital channels, including Acorn TV on Amazon.

The Time of Our Lives: Series 2 (AU)

This Melbourne-set drama, a nominee for Most Outstanding Drama Series at the 2014 Logie Awards, revolves around the lives of the close-knit Tivolli clan, as well as members of their extended family, as they navigate their way through life’s ups and downs — from relationships and parenting, to homes and careers.

Starring Claudia Karvan (Newton’s Law), Justine Clarke (Home and Away), Shane Jacobson (Jack Irish), Stephen Curry (Pine Gap), and William McInnes (Deep Water), The Time of Our Lives: Series 2 begins streaming Monday, October 14, on Acorn TV and its digital channels, including Acorn TV on Amazon.
