Season 2 of Harrow picks up where the Season 1 cliffhanger left off — with Dr. Daniel Harrow (Ioan Gruffudd, Liar, Forever, UnREAL), Senior Medical Examiner at the Queensland Institute of Forensic Medicine in Brisbane, being rushed to hospital.

“Hell is very floral.”

So says the brilliant and unorthodox bad boy of forensic pathology upon waking from an induced coma, which followed the surgery that removed his gallbladder and saved his life.

But Harrow’s hell starts looking like heaven when he meets a beautiful woman at a bar and gets intimately acquainted with her on Bettie, his boat. The morning after, though, not so much: Harrow learns she is Dr. Grace Molyneux (Jolene Anderson, Rush, All Saints), the new pathologist at QIFM… and the niece of Harrow’s uptight, by-the-book colleague, Dr. Lyle Fairly (Darren Gilshenan (No Activity, The Moodys).

Be that as it may, Harrow wants to know who wants him dead and assumes it’s someone from his professional past. But he’s had thousands of cases since 1998 (23,212 to be exact), so where to begin?

Before he starts searching for his would-be assassin, Harrow becomes intrigued by the case of a young woman whose psychotic behavior led to her being shot to death by a police officer. The thing is, her medical history shows she suffered from acute anxiety, not psychosis. So what happened, then?

Meanwhile, Harrow’s daughter Fern (Ella Newton, Newton’s Law) moves into a proper apartment — one “with legit keys” — with her boyfriend Callan (Hunter Page-Lochard, Cleverman), and life is looking up.

Until it becomes hell.

Someone is out to hurt Harrow badly, and this time they’re going after the people Harrow loves and cares about most.

Returning cast members include Damien Garvey (Rake) as Detective Senior Sergeant Bryan Nichols, Remy Hii (Crazy Rich Asians) as forensic pathology assistant Simon Van Reyk, Robyn Malcolm (Outrageous Fortune) as Harrow’s boss Maxine Pavich, and Anna Lise Phillips (Crownies) as Harrow’s ex-wife Stephanie Tolson.

Harrow: Season 2 premieres in the US today, Friday, August 9, exclusively on Hulu. All ten episodes are available for your streaming pleasure.
